In general, we are able to accommodate patients with acute injuries such as lacerations, sprains or fractures within one week and patients with chronic conditions within two weeks of receipt of referral.
Imaging investigation for any patient with foot and ankle condition should always include WEIGHT BEARING X-RAYS of the foot and ankle. Weight bearing is important as it gives us more information on the functional anatomy and helps shape treatment decisions.
